At the August 2024 Board of Directors meeting, the PVS Board approved the following provision
of support to PVS clubs in the 2025 season as a goodwill gesture and means of appreciation:

The requirements & instructions to apply for the 2023-2024 USA Swimming Scholastic All American Team have been published by
USA Swimming.
The requirements are still a Winter Jumior National qualifying time and 3.5 Grade Point Average.
There are also separate requirements for para and open water swimmers.

The application deadline was September 6. Late applications will not be accepted
The lists of PVS clubs and their rankings from the 2023-2024 USA Swimming Virtual Club Championship (SCY & LCM). Potomac Valley has many clubs in the top ten percent of the nearly 2,500 clubs in USA Swimming.
Information and Application for the 2023-2024 PVS Scholar Athlete Award. Note that this is different than the USA Swimming Scholastic All American program (see below). Athletes must submit their own applications Questions should be directed to the PVS Scholar Athlete Coordinator Dave DiNardo. The application deadline is October 15.
Potomac Valley recognizes the graduating athletes from the High School Class of 2024. We wish them well wherever they are headed next.
The PVS Board will be collecting questions and suggestions from our members and picking some to answer each month online. We want this to be a method for building our parents, athletes, coaches, and officials' swimming knowledge and giving all a voice within Potomac Valley Swimming. We look forward to hearing your great ideas and questions
