The above figures do NOT include access to the searchable data base which is located on a separate server. This data base contains times from October 1, 1999 to date. As of February 13, the data base contained 323,355 times. The times come from 15,010 swimmer "names" who represent 193 clubs and 22 LSC's. Three other separate data bases for the 1996-97, 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons remain on line. An assessment is being made whether to continue to make these historical times available.
Because of its size, It is anticipated that the 1999-2000 times will be moved to a separate searchable data base -- most likely after the end of the PVS short course season. The current searchable data bases will then just contain 2000-01 and 2001-02 times.
The searchable data base continues to be heavily utilized. A recent example of heavy use was Monday, February 11 when 2061 individuals accessed the data base and downloaded 4,557,784 times,
The "Top 10 List" by Age Group used to advise swimmers of their status in qualifying for the PV EZ SC team was initially posted on February 1. The first listing of swimmers who have submitted applications was posted on February 14. The "Top 10 List" will just contain names of swimmers who applied to be on the team after the application deadline on February 22.
