Memorandum for all Potomac Valley Swimming Coaches

Subject: New Registation Procedures for Coaches

In the past Mary Ann Henderson, our current Registrar, has had to communicate with members of the coaching community several times before receiving all the necessary credentials before she could complete the registration process. This is a burden that we can not accept in the future. It is far more efficient and cost effective to place the burden of completing the necessary tasks onto each individual coach than on one Registrar for all the coaches in the association.

Therefore, beginning with the next registration year on September 1, 1999 and thereafter each coach will be responsible for ensuring that the registration paperwork and copies of all, repeat all, credentials, copied front and back, are forwarded to our Registrar at the PVS Administrative Office, PO Box 313, Washington Grove, MD 20880-0313. Any registration package that is incomplete, for example lacks proof of CPR, First Aid, and/or Safety Training for Swim Coaches, will not be processed and will be returned to the coach.

I strongly urge you to continue to complete the necessary process completely so that your registration will not be delayed.
