ELIGIBILITY: | OPEN TO POTOMAC VALLEY REGISTERED ATHLETES. CONTESTANTS MUST HAVE EQUALED OR BETTERED THE APPLICABLE NO SLOWER THAN (NST) QUALIFYING TIMES LISTED, AND CANNOT HAVE BETTERED THE NO FASTER THAN (NFT) TIMES LISTED. |
RULES: | CURRENT UNITED STATES SWIMMING RULES SHALL GOVERN THE MEET. ALL EVENTS ARE TRIALS AND FINALS, EXCEPT FOR RELAYS AND THE 1000 AND 1650 FREESTYLE, WHICH WILL BE TIMED FINALS. EVENING EVENTS HEATS WILL BE SWUM IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER: "A", "B", AND "C" (PREVIOUSLY REFERRED TO AS FINALS, CONSOLATION AND BONUS). POSITIVE CHECK-IN IS REQUIRED FOR ALL EVENTS 400 YARDS AND OVER. THESE EVENTS WILL BE SEEDED ON THE DECK. SWIMMERS NOT CHECKED-IN WILL BE SCRATCHED FROM THAT EVENT. ATHLETES WHO HAVE CHECKED IN, HAVE BEEN SEEDED, AND FAIL TO SWIM THE EVENT WILL BE BARRED FROM THEIR NEXT SCHEDULED INDIVIDUAL EVENT. |
