| Eligibility: | Open to all Potomac Valley Swimmers Registered as United States Swimming Athletes and invited teams who are Registered United States Swimming Athletes. All athletes shall compete at the age attained on the first day of the meet. |
| Rule: | Current United States Swimming rules shall govern the meet. All events are timed finals. All events will be swum slowest to fastest. A contestant can enter no more than three(3) individual events per day. |
| Warm-up and Meet Schedule: |
7:10 - 7:50 am, 1st Event 8:00 am Mid-Day Session (Girls 7-under) Warm-up 10:40 - 11:20 am, 1st Event 11:30 am Afternoon Session (Girls 8 year old) Warm-up 2:00 - 2:40 pm, 1st Event 2:50 pm |
| Warm-up: | The prescribed Potomac Valley Swimming Warm-up procedures and safety policies will be followed. The Meet Director may determine the structure of the warm-up, including times and lane assignments. |
| Public Admission and Program Fee: | There is no public admission charge. Programs for each session will be available for $ 1.00; Potomac Valley swim members who present their current PVS Membership Card are entitled to a 50 % discount on program fee. |
| Awards: | Individual events will be awarded first through tenth place. Relay events will be awarded for first place through fourth place. A heat award will be given to the winner of each individual event only. |
| Officials: | Official assigned to this meet please sign in at the officials table by the starting end of the pool. Certified Officials who have not been contacted should volunteer their services to the Deck Referee. An officials meeting will be held no later then 10 minutes before the end of each warm-up session. |
| Entry Fees: |
Fees for relay events are $ 5.00; Each club is requested to remit one check to cover the entry fees for the entire team. Please do not send cash. Meet Directors have been instructed not to accept telephone entries. Late entries are $ 10.00 per individual event and must be submitted no later than 30 minutes prior to the first event of each session. Meet Director reserves the right to limit the number of late entries. Late entries accepted on a first come, first serve basis. No late entries for relays will be accepted. |

The following Computer Disk entries (Hy-Tek) are Required: * A meet entry report by swimmer and meet entry report by event from the Team Manager Program. Do not use Comlink reports. * Entries may be also submitted on PVS Master Entry Sheet. Teams entering more then 10 athletes in this format will need to pay a $ 1.00 surcharge per-swimmer. * Also all entries must be submitted with a complete "Entry Cover Sheet". * A signature and phone number of a swim club official must be included with entry for validation of entries. * All team relays must be submitted on Potomac Valley Swimming Entry Cards, and a Potomac Valley Master Entry Sheet or Hy-Tek Disk. * Please write Comlink File name on the outside of each disk. * No faxed entries will be accepted. |
| Warning & Penalty: | Any club that enters an unregistered athlete, falsifies an entry in any way, or permits an unregistered coach to represent them, will be fined the sum of $100.00; and no further entries will be accepted from the club/team until said fine has been paid. |
| Supervision & Seating: | Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their swimmers and families. Please clean your team area after each session, thank you. We ask all swimmers and coaches to sit in the bleachers closest to the locker rooms and ALL Parents to sit in the bleachers on the "cinder block wall" side of the pool. Only swimmers, coaches, and officials will be permitted to be on the "glass wall" side of the pool. |
| Timers: | The Meet sponsor ask each participating club to provide one timer for each session. The sponsoring club will provide times for the meet. |
